Your mission:

The Biopharma Business Development Manager is in charge, in accordance with KEGT strategy and objective, to maximize Sales results by identifying market opportunities, developing new accounts in the Therapeutic business segment in US.

She/He is responsible for developing and prospecting Therapeutic Biotech and Biopharma companies having an active pipeline focusing on plasmids DNA, mRNA, rec Protein expressed in microbial or eucaryote system as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (A.P.I) or as a Starting Material (S.M) used in Cell & Gene Therapies.

She/He is an ambassador of Kaneka Eurogentec brand and acts as first point of contact for the Eurogentec Kaneka Biopharma Business Unit in US.

Your responsabilities:

  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives assigned by Sales Director;
  • Promote, sell, and differentiate KEGT Biopharma CDMO Services & value proposition;
  • Increase market awareness proactively and develop customer interest (LEAD) on Eurogentec’s offering;
  • Generate proactively Leads through proactive activities and contacts;
  • Qualify and convert Leads to Prospects (intent to buy) and transfer them to internal project management/expert when required;
  • Establish long term partnerships with valued customers and develop KEGT wallet share;
  • Act as specialist of her/his business segment and as business segment first point of contact for specific KEGT CDMO services portfolio;
  • Execute operational Marketing Action Plan and develop brand recognition and visibility;
  • Ensure the quality and completion of customers' information stored in CRM system;
  • Represent company to national and international conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and events for the purpose of networking, leads identification/generation and prospect follow-up;
  • Gather market intelligence about competition moves and market needs evolutions. Keep KEGT management informed about changes in competitor companies’ activities and other market changes.

Your profile:

  • Master’s degree in Biotechnologies, Biology or Chemistry. Good understanding of biotechnologies and molecular biology, ideally recombinant proteins, pDNA and mRNA/Oligonucleotides. GMP knowledge and understanding will be appreciated;
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a business development role selling CDMO services in a B2B environment, ideally Biopharma, is essential. Experience in selling muti-modalities biotech services within Life Sciences would be differentiating;
  • Proven track record in complex negotiations with CxO’s level within an international business environment is a must;
  • Autonomous, rigorous, team spirit, strong communication and negociation skills.
