Provision of scientific and technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams to achieve corporate goals for challenging research projects within the field of insect cell culture;
Development, execution and optimization of protein production in insect cells for various upstream applications;
Evaluation of new technology/equipment to constantly improve our insect cell culture platform;
Preparation of all relevant project documentation (i.e. SOPs, technical reports, project plans, scientific presentations), their review and training;
Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to colleagues, customers and business partners.

PhD in biochemistry or related field with an excellent proven expertise in insect cell culture for protein production;
A minimum of 2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry;
Good acquaintance with protein expression in insect cells via various baculovirus systems;
Experience in mid to small-scale expression;
Hands-on mentality with a problem-solving mindset and attention to details;
Independent, service-oriented way of working, with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills.
