Your mission

  • Project Management of Early Drug Discovery Projects on Biologics targets (large molecules including antibodies, non-antibody-derived scaffolds, antibody-fusions, bispecifics, and antigens) and Protein targets (small molecules) including customer interactions with international Pharma and Biotech companies in the US and EU, as a main contact person at Proteros, interface between customer and Proteros operations;
  • Setting up scientific project strategy and translation into a commercial proposal;
  • Lead the science and managing project teams composed of scientists from Proteins, Assays and Structural Biology departments;
  • Acquisition of early discovery large and small molecule projects, both as stand-alone services from multiple Proteros products, and as integrated large molecule projects;
  • Interface with existing Proteros customers, to expand their commitment within the Proteros service portfolio, and lead conversion of new customers in tandem with members of the commercial branch of the Proteros organization;
  • Suggest suitable solutions and technological approaches according to target/customer needs;
  • Drive large and small molecule projects using the entire Proteros technology platform, including gene to protein supply, kinetic profiling and biophysical qualification, and high resolution structural elucidation using crystallography or cryo-EM.

Your profile

  • Hands-on experience in industrial drug discovery, including enabling technologies in the areas of protein sciences, antibody discovery/early development, biophysical/biochemical assays, structural biology, and hit identification;
  • Ph.D. degree in in Life Sciences;
  • Several years of experience in pharma/biotech or CRO with a good understanding of small and large molecule drug discovery processes and terminologies, antibody discovery and earl antibody development, structure-based drug discovery, proteins and protein interactions with small-molecules and nucleic acids;
  • Experience in Project Management in life science industry: lead project teams, interact with partners and/or customers, budget/timeline and quality control, experience working in a CRO managing customer projects is a plus;
  • Strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills and eagerness to move projects to completion;
  • Able to envision a project as a whole package, anticipate problems/bottlenecks and mitigate risks.
