Head of Supply Chain Northern Europe

As Head of Supply Chain Northern Europe, you will lead the cluster supply chain organization for Alpine, Nordics, Benelux, and Poland markets. Providing direction associated to demand, supply, distribution, customer service, and launch readiness.
The role reports to Head of Supply Chain EMEAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Market Supply Chain teams and provide direction to plans associated with the demand, supply, distribution, customer service and launch readiness activities;
- S&OP: Drive Market S&OP governance; collaborating with finance and sales enabling full visibility of all risk and opportunities, aligning on one forecast in volumes and financials;
- Demand Planning: Analyse market trends, demand forecasts, and regulatory changes to anticipate supply chain needs and challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance to develop integrated business plans;
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and develop inventory management action plan to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring product availability;
- Distribution and Logistics: Manage transportation, warehousing, and logistics service providers to optimize costs and service levels;
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the supply chain team to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability;
- Lead and manage the budget and financial aspects of Supply Chain Management;
- Deliver critical processes to drive transformation and change of Supply Chain Management practices to maximize effectiveness and efficiency;
- Analyse business challenges implementing corrective measures on specific issues and processes.
Management Responsibility
- Leads multiple teams of senior managers and managers;
- Develop short to long-term (1-5 years) operational plans for optimizing the organization;
- Has budget accountability.
Stakeholders
- Extensive contact and negotiating with other departments and external parties with conflicting objectives;
- Influence and challenge key stakeholders effectively;
- Develop strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with senior business leaders;
- Influence others across Galderma and externally as a recognized thought leader representing the Group;
- Foster cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field or MBA is preferred;
- Extensive experience in a similar supply chain leadership role leading teams and influencing strategic directions at Global and Regional level;
- Developed short to long-term (1-5 years) operational plans for optimizing the organization or function and executed strategies;
- Business partnering, stakeholder management, and hands‐on to get into the details if needed;
- Strong team player with effective communication and People management skills;
- Fluency in English, other European languages are a plus.
