The R&D Specialist, Enzyme Sensors for Radiometer is responsible for developing and sustaining enzyme sensors for our blood gas platforms. In this role, your you can expect to improve sensor properties by diving into the scientific principles of the sensors, investigate causes of malfunctions, and together with Operations improve the quality of our products.
This position is part of the Enzyme Sensors and Liquid Chemistry Department located in Brønshøj and will be an on-site position. You will report to the Senior Manager responsible for the quality, sustainment and development of Radiometer's Enzyme Sensors and Liquid Chemistry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Improve the quality and delivery of enzyme sensors
- Collaborate with other R&D departments, Operations, RA and QA
- Be part of a highly skilled and experienced sensor team
- Learn and apply Lean methods
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering or related area
- 2-3 years’ work experience within a similar industry (alternatively a relevant PhD study)
- General Chemistry knowledge, ideally within Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry
- Enzyme knowledge
- The ability to take responsibility, achieve results and keep deadlines
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working with bigger datasets and data science (SAS JMP and SQL proficiency are a plus)
- Design control for medical devices
- Working and navigating in projects involving several functions and many stakeholders
- Efficiently prioritize tasks and easily switch focus between multiple projects
