The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our analytical development team for mammalian products, we are seeking an Associate Principal Scientist with significant work experience in physical-chemical methods such as HPLC, LC-MS, iciEF and a passion for analytics to join our Lonza talent community. Key responsibilities:

SME for dedicated methods (incl. review and interpretation of data, leading investigations and troubleshooting in the laboratory)
Key person for the coordination and execution of method validation, development and validation.
Identifying and implementing innovations in the area of expertise and pursue continuous improvement projects
Supports actively lab work by hands-on-work
Single point of contact for customer queries regarding AD topics

Key requirements:

Degree (Bachelor, Master) in biochemistry, biotechnology or a comparable subject area
Several years of relevant professional experience in method validation, development and transfer
Experience in protein analysis and physical-chemical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, iciEF, etc)
Ideally experience with IT/OT systems for analytical laboratories, such as electronic lab notebooks, Empower, etc.
Strong leadership skills and confident communication in English. German is a plus
