(Senior) Research Associate Bioanalytics Support

We are currently looking for a (Senior) Research Associate with a background in bioanalytical laboratory work to join our R&D team in our facility in Gent/Zwijnaarde. The ideal candidate should be motivated to produce high-quality results through close collaboration with other members of the project teams. This takes place in a dynamic, informal, and stimulating environment where you and your colleagues collaborate towards achieving our shared objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

Support project teams in the development of bioanalytical assays (ELISA, MSD, Gyros platforms) and sample analysis for non-clinical studies.
Independently planning and conducting experiments, as well as interpreting, reporting, and presenting results.
Offering creative solutions to unforeseen issues as they arise.
Actively engaging in project teams, effectively organizing tasks while recognizing and addressing priorities.
Demonstrating eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge, and being willing to share expertise with colleagues.

Profile:

A Master degree in Biomedical Sciences, Master degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Master degree Industrial Engineering or equivalent with approximately 2 years of experience.
Proficient in essential statistical and data analysis software such as Excel and GraphPad Prism.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with bioanalytical methods, including ELISA or MSD.
A team player who is enthusiastic and precise in execution and reporting.
Demonstrates initiative, commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
