Key Responsibilities

• Innovative Development: Lead and support the design and development of new and innovative (prep) HPLC columns and related consumables.
• Product Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations through column loading, analytical testing, column hardware assessment, and application testing.
• Technology Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of technology from the R&D lab to manufacturing, ensuring a smooth transition from lab prototypes to large scale production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the local and global R&D teams, contributing both independently and as part of a team.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, write production protocols, and prepare research reports. Presenting work to R&D and management.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: University degree (preferably Master/PhD) in Analytical Chemistry with several years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
• Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge in chromatography and analytical chemistry.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated hands-on experience in (prep) HPLC chromatography, LC-MS and other related analytical techniques.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex chromatographic issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written experience in English (Dutch is a plus).
