Job Description

As an AS&T Manager, you will oversee a team of talented scientists, driving analytical excellence across the activities needed for supply of commercial products such as, technology transfer, GMP and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support life cycle management of product and commercial manufacturing, ensuring robust and reliable analytical solutions.

This position is based at our Global Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden reporting directly to Head of AS&T.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Analytical Subject Matter Experts for both biologics and small molecule drug products fostering innovation and technical excellence;
• Support the continuous supply of Sobi products for patients through collaboration with the other parts of Technical Operations as well as Regulatory;
• Support Geographical expansion of Sobi products with launches on new markets and the corresponding regulatory submissions;
• Provision of resources within budget to Virtual Plant Team and Product teams and plan for head count increase in case of constraints;
• Support the team with planning, prioritization and delivery of tasks as needed and secure a good working environment and work life balance;
• Ensure GMP compliance;
• Establishment and adherence to budget for AS&T;
• Preparations and execution of Performance Management, salary reviews as well as ensuring that development plans are in place for all team members;
• Support implementation of new analytical technologies.

Qualifications

About you

You are an experienced leader with extensive experience from life science, pharmaceutical industry and GMP. You have a background within analytical science and technology or within a related field. As a leader you are structured and result oriented as well as communicative with an ability to coach and mentor colleagues to achieve their full potential. You are passionate about problem-solving, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and drive efficiency. You are also a strategic thinker who understands regulatory requirements and can effectively communicate across departments to drive projects forward.

Key Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Analytical Chemistry, or within a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry. Practical experience within the analytical field is strongly meritorious;
• Extensive leadership experience, 5+ years with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams;
• Worked with biopharmaceuticals and/or small molecules in a commercial setting;
• Deep understanding of GMP, regulatory guidelines and analytical lifecycle management;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement;
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluent in Swedish is an advantage.
