We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Project Manager to lead the planning and integration of Research and Development (R&D) activities at our pharmaceutical manufacturing site of Lessines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning and execution of R&D projects manufacturing activities, aligned with our strategic objectives, to drive innovation in our product portfolio.
Your role will be to coordinate the work in between R&D and Manufacturing product development through integration of the different functions to enable successful delivery of projects.
What you'll do:
As a project manager, you will support the Sr. manager manufacturing product development to understand the deliverables and timelines for each R&D project, consolidate an integrated view of all asks and ensure successful completion on time.
You will collaborate with various functional teams within manufacturing to identify the specific tasks required to meet these deliverables. You will be responsible for creating and implementing detailed plans and budgets for these manufacturing tasks and ensuring that they are completed on time, using project management tools and competencies.
In addition to this, you will facilitate communication and collaboration between R&D project managers and manufacturing functional leads to ensure smooth project execution. You will manage any risks, issues, or changes that may arise during the project, implementing mitigation strategies as needed to ensure the project’s successes.
You will also track the progress of each project, preparing updates on important measurements and achievements to senior management. You'll find opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Overall, your goal is to ensure that Baxter Healthcare delivers high-quality products to its customers, on time and within budget, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
- A minimum of a Master or Bachelor’s with equivalent plus 5 years’ project management experience in referenced industries with demonstrated success leading wide programs in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in R&D project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry;
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex R&D projects;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for pharmaceutical R&D;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage risks, and track project progress;
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process and the R&D lifecycle.
