Design and implementation of innovative algorithms and computational tools for optimization and quantification of mRNAs, leveraging machine learning and AI methodologies;
Analysis and interpretation of complex biological datasets, including transcriptomics, genomics and production relevant data, and further;
Development of strategies for integrating multi-omics data to enhance the understanding of biological processes and optimize RNA-based applications;
Collaboration with (computational) scientists to ensure that the developed tools meet the needs of ongoing research projects & activities;
Documentation of methodologies, results, and findings;
Presentation of research outcomes to stakeholders and contribution to scientific publications.

University degree, preferably with a Ph.D., in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Genetics/Genomics or a related field;
Proven experience in bioinformatics, particularly with RNA modality and multi-omics data analysis;
Familiarity with machine learning and AI based techniques and their application in biological research;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex biological data and derive meaningful insights;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and contribute to a positive team culture;
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar;
Experience in cloud computing, agile software development, and structuring complex biological data is beneficial;
Fluency in English, German is a plus.
