Head of Quality Control

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Quality Control to lead our quality control team at the Insulins Campus Frankfurt. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, supporting our mission to improve the lives of diabetes patients globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control Leadership: Implement and oversee quality control processes in line with Sanofi global procedures;
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the quality control team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation;
- Compliance: Ensure all quality control activities comply with internal and external quality requirements, regulations, and certifications;
- Risk Management: Maintain a system to identify, track, and mitigate quality risks;
- Material Testing: Oversee the testing and release of all incoming materials;
- Analytical Testing: Ensure conformance of analytical test results with specifications to support product batch release;
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for quality control activities;
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or Business Administration;
- 5+ years in Quality Control, preferably in a senior or managerial role in pharmaceutical manufacturing;
- Strong knowledge of quality, compliance, manufacturing excellence, and HSE. Proficient in quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control;
- Fluent in English (written & verbal); German is a plus.
