As a Biologist/Biotechnologist in the field of cell and molecular biology, you'll play a vital role in the Drug Discovery processes based on Structure-Activity Relationship studies or testing of drug substances and products in the GMP environment for biotech and pharma companies from Europe, USA and the rest of the world.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing biological results and drawing conclusions regarding their activity;
- Designing and conducting experiments with the usage of eukaryotic cell lines;
- Running cell line banks and mycoplasma tests;
- Implementation of new research methods and protocols as part of current needs.
Your background
- MSc or Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or other related disciplines;
- Experience in laboratory work in academic units or a company in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector;
- Experience in carrying out standard tests, e.g. cytotoxicity, and Western blot analysis;
- Experience in cell culture and primary cells in vitro;
- Ability to work effectively in a team;
- Active participation in task performance and problem-solving attitude;
- Good command of spoken and written English.
