The Role

A typical day for a Production Team Leader (Manufacturing Operations) is far from typical. The role is dynamic and versatile in its daily tasks.

The main function of the role is to manage cGMP manufacturing operations (safety , quality, compliance and performance) for our late shift. Please note this role will be late shift 14:00-20:00 only and this person shall be the responsible single-point contact of manufacturing operations on this shift.

The post holder will be a competent person in a number of manufacturing process technologies (oral solid dose required, liquid oral dose and spray drying experience are desirable) with previous experience and ability to identify and drive continuous improvement .

Key Requirements

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK

To be successful in this position you will need a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related Scientific/Technical/Engineering discipline OR Significant experience in a supervisory role in the pharmaceutical industry

Additionally, you will need previous experience of supervising highly technical manufacturing or packaging processes, experience in the organisation of resource (equipment and personnel) to meet scheduled output targets and experience of working in a regulated environment within a formal quality system
