About You

Key Requirements:

Ph.D. with 5-7 years relevant experience OR Masters with 8 years relevant experience OR B.Sc. with 10 years relevant experience;
Developed scientific expertise within the overall field of toxicology;
Experience with dossier preparation for the EU/UK;
Planning and overseeing toxicological studies;
Ability to explain scientific concepts to both scientific experts and non-experts, including the company's scientific staff, and non-scientific clients;
Sufficient scientific experience to be able to establish the scope and work plan for reasonably complicated projects;
Training and mentoring of junior staff;
Developed written skills as a professional scientist;
Preparation of accurate cost and timeline estimates.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Senior Scientist – Toxicology who can explain scientific concepts to both scientific experts and non-experts, including the company's scientific staff, and non-scientific clients.

Key activities:

Interpret data to develop strategies and lead complex scientific projects considering EU/UK regulatory requirements;
Efficiently and effectively manage multiple projects so deliverables are prepared on time and budget;
Provide continuous training to junior team members;
Maintain a high level of scientific knowledge and the reputation of being a recognised specialist through participation in scientific conferences, preparing peer-reviewed publications, and posters, giving presentations at conferences, etc.;
Communicate expectations and priorities to stakeholders (including team members and clients);
Develop and maintain successful client relationships.
