Your mission

Under the responsibility of the Regional Medical Director, the objective of this role is to develop and implement, in close collaboration with local cross-functional teams and in alignment with Global Medical strategy, Medical and patient plans, mainly within Innovative Oncology portfolio. Key medical activities include:

Scientific exchange with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Patient Association Groups (PAGs)

  • Develop and sustain long-term scientific relationships with relevant HCPs/PAGs;
  • Exchange complex scientific information with HCPs;
  • Identify topics of interests among HCPs and organize local medical peer-to-peer meetings/scientific events;
  • Is responsible of the medical and scientific information and guarantee information for healthcare professionals.

Field link for clinical trials and access programs

  • Liaison/feedback for clinical studies and access programs, supporting needs of HCPs.

Internal scientific and medical function support

  • Actively participate to define integrated medico-marketing plans meeting local strategic imperatives;
  • Participate in Medical Review for promotional and non-promotional materials;
  • Deliver sales force/internal training; provide scientific information in response to field and HCP queries;
  • Ensure continuous data and competitive intelligence analysis related to Pierre Fabre portfolio;
  • Analysis, interpretation and reporting of current environments; gather and share insights to appropriate internal teams.

Who you are?

REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MS) with prior experience in Medical Department in the Pharma Industry setting, preferably in the Oncology field;
  • Experience with established products is a plus;
  • Experience of interacting with HCPs on a peer-to-peer basis, MSL experience is a plus;
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to create and sustain credible relationships with HCPs;
  • Ability to design and moderate medical meetings to facilitate peer-to-peer discussions;
  • Ability to understand HCPs’ needs and to convey emergent scientific information;
  • Knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research;
  • Understanding of statistical methods and clinical process;
  • Preferably familiar with local health-political laws and regulations;
  • Understanding of the hospital environment and healthcare system, as well as an understanding of clinical processes (e.g. trial design, study implementation);
  • Preferably with an industry experience in a matrix organization;
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders, and in particular with Commercial, Marketing and Medical Affairs teams and with other in-field personnel;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to give lectures and training on medical science topics to groups of varying sizes;
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Microsoft literate, with ability to produce and deliver high quality PowerPoint presentations;
  • English: fluent level;
  • Have high ethical standards and recognized personal integrity;
  • Willing to travel with overnight stays.
