The KAM is a member of the commercial team and responsible for delivering greater market share through our key partners.
Increasing the profitability and further development of the business of key accounts in the clinical diagnostics market;
Optimization of the sales process based on the contract bases of the customers (laboratory service providers, purchasing communities, hospitals, associations, clinics, etc.);
Focus on customer satisfaction & retention, finding solutions and ensuring long-term account management;
For this purpose, you develop strategic plans per account with the involvement and acquisition of the corresponding internal divisions;
You are constantly following new market and policy developments in the healthcare sector;
Close integration of other business areas (Customer Care, Quotation, Sales & Service, Business Units, Marketing ...), as the knowledge of processes in the other divisions is essential, this task requires a high degree of flexibility, communicative ability, responsibility, business and a work style adapted to a growing company.
Life Science/Medical Diagnostics background with ideally, experience selling with the clinical/hospital sector;
At least 5 years of professional experience in a sales position, ideally from an environment of medical technology with a very high customer focus with knowledge of hospital organization and procedures;
Profound experience in dealing with customers, committed, forward-thinking and sociable personality who likes to work with all partners;
Deep knowledge of the "Medical" market, i.e. current and possible future policies, trends, technologies that affect business areas and organization, you know strategies and bring expertise in negotiating complex contracts with purchasing department associations;
You have experience with CRM systems, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics and MS Office package;
Language skills: Business fluent German (C1+) and a good knowledge of English (B2+);
Willingness to travel 50% (e.g. for clinic visits, appointments at our company headquarters in Krefeld, trade fairs and congresses) with a home office status;
Strong communication skills, determination and very good self-organization;
Positive proactive attitude with a "can do" mentality;
Strong social competence and emotional intelligence, especially for the constructive handling of conflict situations;
Confidant strong communication strengths incl. target groups of specific communication (partner management);
