Take advantage of your experience in the area of peptide therapeutics and actively shape a sustainable Research project pipeline to assure long-term profitability of a globally leading and family-owned pharmaceutical company.

As expert for mass-spectrometry, you combine an innovative, proactive mind-set with scientific expertise in bioanalysis. In addition, you are a driver of drug discovery, experienced in developing new methods for peptide quantification and take advantage of cutting-edge technologies.

As Analytical Expert within Discovery Research Germany in Biberach, you are part of a highly innovative and leading Bioanalysis Group contributing to the discovery of breakthrough therapies that ultimately improves the quality of human life.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you are an expert for quantification of peptide therapeutics contributing to research teams and international research collaborations;
  • As an LC-MS specialist, you develop new methods for peptide quantification, analyze samples and present your results to your line management;
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of the LC-MS equipment are also part of your responsibility;
  • You support to the scientific and technological development of the highly innovative group;
  • As team player, you contribute to the team spirit in a highly flexible matrix organization. 

Requirements

  • Master´s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline with respective experience in the field;
  • Hands-on experience in the quantification of therapeutic peptides and/or small molecules by means of LC-MS including corresponding sample preparation techniques;
  • Organizational talent, the ability to respond to changing priorities as well as short lead times for multiple tasks, ability to identify problems and work towards solution;
  • Excellent communication skills (English) and teamwork capabilities.
