Position Summary:

As Account Manager you will be responsible for managing accounts and growing new businesses through successfully selling and promotion core and value-added products and services. You will serve as the primary business contact for customers and agents in the European territories. To maximize business opportunities within WEST you will coordinate all activities of customers in central Europe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will contribute to define the strategy for your accounts by developing a deep understanding of the business objects, products and related market activities;
  • To ensure profitable business growth in accordance with the company objectives you will identify and fulfil customer needs;
  • It will be on you to develop new and existing customers through promotion of WEST products and services;
  • Throughout the sales cycle you will be keeping abreast of products, services and market trends to consider a wide range of factors in defining vision and strategy;
  • You will enhance customer satisfaction by understanding their requirements and improving the services to enable customers achieving their specific business goals;
  • As expert in WEST products and services you will drive the spirit of OneWestTeam across all functions by creating and supporting a close and long-term partnership between customers and departments;
  • For more complex customer problems, you will closely work with other teams by focusing on our patients and customers as our top priorities;
  • You will proactively foster strategic partnerships with key decision makers by consistently seeking feedback to ensure expectations are met.

Qualifications:

  • You are educated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, in a technical field or related study;
  • To be successful in this role, you have a proven track record in B to B sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience including Key Account Management;
  • Ideally you bring professional working experience in medical device or pharma industry;
  • You are a self-starter who will quickly develop the ability to manage and grow business of many accounts;
  • Managing several tasks and projects at once poses no problem for you;
  • To help driving the success of our products and the company you will bring your motivation and capability of working autonomously in an international environment but also in cross functional teams of professionals;
  • You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and are able to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues in other departments;
  • To build strong business relationships you have excellent English skills and cultural sensitiveness;
  • You have an eagerness to travel up to 50% of the time in Europe.
