Senior Director Medical Affairs Project Strategy and Operations (gn)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the crafting of Medical Affairs strategy and “high-resolution” tactical project plans, across multiple time horizons (3m, 6m, 1yr, 3yr, 5yr etc.)
  • General management of department: plan staff meetings, coordinate cross functional reviews and interactions to maintain governance alignment, maintain department budget with Controlling/Finance
  • Transition all Medical Affairs Tafasitamab launch strategies into project plans, and collaborate with Program Management and relevant Commercial functions on continuously tracking key milestones and metrics relevant for launch readiness and execution post launch
  • With Head of Global Medical Affairs (GMA), project and coordinate the hiring of staff; manage budget and align with Munich based leadership to develop integrated Medical-Clinical Development capability in Boston office
  • With Head of GMA, create innovative internal communications campaign to help catalyze matrix partnerships within MorphoSys
  • Define, create and sustain new, thriving partnerships with external vendors to expand medical affairs capabilities and reach
  • Help craft new Medical Affairs SOPs consistent with evolving role and expanding responsibilities in the post launch setting
  • Provide leadership, drive alignment on balancing immediate launch priorities for the Tafasitamab program with while transitioning to a portfolio approach to include Medical Affairs support of MOR 202 and other pipeline programs
  • Support ongoing partnership with Incyte and help optimize execution plans across companies
  • With team, develop medical affairs related materials and content for internal and external stakeholders and serve as a point of contact for all members

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in life sciences area with relevant project management experience working within an R&D organization, including with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development, as well as with commercial; Advanced degree is a plus
  • Min. 5+ years in Program Management or Operations with strong knowledge of Medical Affairs; Prior knowledge of Hematology or Oncology preferred, experience in Autoimmune diseases is a bonus
  • Experience in launching new products and launch readiness activities as well as implementing Publication and evidence generation plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and coordinate workload, under pressure and in a team environment to meet established deadlines
  • Experience in working in matrix organizations, with readiness to take on work beyond your job description
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including grammatical/ technical writing and presentation skills
