Job Description

  • Develop and implement a corporate and product marketing plan for Sandoz products that are launched and/or supported through marketing activities in the relevant year;
  • Providing and communicating of market data and market-predicting study findings in the short and long term for forecasting, marketing planning and strategic planning;
  • Build a long-term and win-win business relationship with all stakeholders;
  • Developing effective marketing plans and strategies in line with the business strategy for new products (6 months before launch date), product groups (umbrella approach) and Sandoz’ brand.;
  • Develop, implement and adjust the tactical plan in line with business strategic product objectives;
  • Propose, implement and monitor product strategies and business strategies according to marketing KPIs;
  • The development and presentation of promotional materials that will be used by the Sales Department;
  • The development and handling of media campaigns specific to the profession;
  • Investigate and follow up of existing Product Portfolio according to the objectives and anticipate future trends in disease policy and market situation that are expected to influence product performance;
  • Visiting doctors/pharmacists with representatives to feel the effect of the strategies and the marketing material;
  • Mapping and checking budgets, forecasts and expenses, and periodically reviewing the marketing mix of the granted promoted product(s) to evaluate the cost/benefit ratio and results;
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key customers to support current and future product goals;
  • Being recognized as the "Product Champion" through knowledge of the products and the market and by constantly following the business closely;
  • Communicate effectively within the organization to ensure the motivation and alignment of the sales team with marketing;
  • Independently guarantee portfolio management and prepare new launches based on targets set;
  • Provide and communicate appropriate recommendations: competitive information, market and product forecasts on short and long term, analyze sales, market data and study findings;
  • Perpetuate cycle statistics with detailed marketing activities;
  • Negotiating the costs of external purchases and the Marketing Research contracts and publications for publicity;
  • Respect the annual Marketing budget.

Minimum requirements

  • University degree with scientific background or equivalent by experience;
  • Dutch, French, English;
  • 5 years in Brand Management.
