Director - HEOR, V&A Execution - Inflammation ACE

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, Head of Value and Access Center of Excellence, this role will:

  • Define and articulate vision for HEOR within V&A CoE;
  • Partner with key markets and the global V&A team to develop and adapt the core HE model;
  • Plan and collect key country payer and evidence requirements and incorporate into core HE model development, and adapt core HE model for local use;
  • Provide inputs and/or conduct statistical analyses to develop and adapt economic model, including cross-over adjustment, predictive modeling and indirect treatment comparison, and draw insights, actions and recommendations for implementation from modeling;
  • Fully understand core economic models and support the adaptation of country-specific economic models. Present economic evidence to HTA organizations for assigned markets;
  • Provide leadership to ensure best practices in health economics modeling and adaptation in markets across the globe;
  • Support local vendor selection and management, ensuring consistency and use of best practices across markets;
  • Proactively maintain a network of external relationships with key opinion leaders.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We’re seeking an analytical independent contributor with:

  • Prior HEOR experience in a global, regional or in-country role. Market-level experience a plus;
  • Strong understanding of the current HEOR/payer environment, including reimbursement and HTA processes;
  • Experience working with HTA agencies at a local level;
  • Deep research and analytical skills, including experience in literature reviews, secondary data analysis methods, manuscript writing and Excel spreadsheet modeling;
  • Significant experience in conducting and interpreting quantitative analyses required for economic model development;
  • Strong understanding of advanced statistics such as cross-over adjustment, predictive modeling and indirect treatment comparison;
  • B.A. or B.S. required in life sciences, engineering or other related discipline; Advanced degree preferred.
