We have an exciting opportunity for an HIV Product Manager as fixed term position, to be based in our Paris offices. Reporting to the Marketing Director HIV, this role will be responsible to support, develop and implement key strategic initiatives and managing the current portfolio. The product Manager will also work in x-functional team that includes the following departments: Governmental Affairs, Public Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • This position will be responsible for marketing activities for HIV across France;
  • Provides strategic input and recommendations for x-functional action plans;
  • Gains approval for marketing materials through internal review process and secures final production;
  • Analyses moderately complex problems and provides logical recommendations; leads any required action planning;
  • Provides strategic input on key planning teams such as: conventions, sales meetings, sales training and medical education programs;
  • Has responsibility for managing an assigned marketing budget and project timelines;
  • Ensures that all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements;
  • Sets a positive example for others to follow, shares own expert knowledge, models standards of performance, offers guidance and support;
  • Implements product promotional communication strategy for physician promotions ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy;
  • Responsible for executing the Brand Business Plan;
  • Sets priorities in circumstances of continued complexity and conflicting requirements;
  • Establishes strong working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders regionally and nationally;
  • Successful development of external relationships leading to brand advocacy is required.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Essential:

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role;
  • Scientific Degree;
  • Previous experience in marketing research and/or pharmaceutical sales is a plus;
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in franchise-specific market is preferred;
  • Must have the ability to conduct analysis and use complex analytical tools;
  • Must have a demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities;
  • Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills and ability to efficiently and productively communicate to a variety of groups and audiences;
  • Must have a demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials;
  • Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute development strategy;
  • In-depth ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans;
  • Strong presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making is required;
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or work groups;
  • Ability to successfully work with external agencies, including advertising, public relations and medical education vendors to develop programs and materials is required;
  • Must be able to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional business plans. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and multiple projects/priorities is required.
