Key Responsibilities

The Medical Affairs Directos is to coordinate the medical department activity in order to assure compliance, information and education both internally and externally facing to help company staff, medical professionals and the public better understand company's products.

  • Responsible for providing complete, accurate, relevant medical information service in order to ensure a high level of customer service in providing information for all products, also for development of communication regarding Teva products and other educational programs for external clients (HCPs, medical experts and scientific leaders).
  • Implementation of the global directions/TPE, on the medical line, in the activities of the local organization.
  • Fully understands the needs of the company's current and future challenges and ensure that the services provided by Medical Dpt to which it belongs are in accordance with European/Global Medical policies and procedures. Ensure that European/ Global Medical are implemented at the highest quality, meet deadlines data, builds and maintains good relations and fruitful cooperation with colleagues at Regional/European/Global.
  • Development of the Department for performing local clinical trials and managing the global studies at the local level
  • Maintaining a high ethical and professional standard, in accordance with the Conduct Code, FCPA policy and the Standard Operational Procedures and Pharmavigilance Procedures of Teva Pharmaceuticals SRL
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve common objectives
  • Indetification of risks and opportunities – creation or modification of processes with their description in SOPs or Wis
  • Establishes, coordinates, monitors and updates policies and processes while following EU/global policies and guidelines and complying with local legislation.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the internal scientific/medical information, clarity and balanced message
  • Coordinates the Medical Information process to external customers and the the review and approval process for any medical communication/promotion to internal and external customers
  • Represent the company in relation with authorities that are competent in the medical publicity relations area.

Required experience

  • +5 years on a similar position in pharma industry in an international company
  • Graduate medical specialty (Medicine, Pharmacy, Stomatology),
  • Experience in medical affairs
  • Knowledge of local legislation
