Job Summary:

The Customer/Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible to create and execute high-impact campaigns which move CooperVision to become the Key Account/Practitioners’ partner of choice for our entire portfolio and in particular contact lenses. To champion and implement CooperVision Services and to be a key marketing contact for Key Accounts. To work cross functionally to develop and deliver the key trade events throughout the year.

Essential Functions:

  • To plan and to implement customer & trade marketing activities reflecting clear consumer journey with well-defined touch points and engagement tactics;
  • Develop and activate brand consumer positioning for DACH market in conjunction with European counterparts; ensure all brand Management processes are completed on a timely basis;
  • To be a key marketing contact for Key Accounts, acting as the customers’ voice internally, ensuring all activity helps to build business credibility and meet or exceed targets;
  • To contribute to the development of the annual DACH marketing plan, working closely with the wider marketing team, sales and customer service functions to ensure tools and assets meets market needs and brand guidelines;
  • To champion and grow CooperVision Advantage services across all customers and trade channels;
  • On a project basis, support and/or lead cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional events throughout the year (specifically opti trade fair) aligned to the brand positioning and helping to elevate brand & company perception amongst KOLs and practitioners;
  • To act as the ‘Insights champion’ within DACH, analyzing and providing interpretation of market and consumer data/studies to provide continued market and consumer insights to other functions and departments;
  • Appoint and manage agencies and other vendor partners;
  • Keep the commercial organization abreast of emerging trends, opportunities along with value added insights to drive the business.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Structured and independent working method;
  • Project management experience;
  • Communicative - fun, joy and confidence in writing texts paired with a strong feeling for language;
  • Analytical;
  • Conceptual;
  • Proven working experience in B2B and B2C marketing;
  • Strong customer focus;
  • The ability to create simple, persuasive, commercial arguments and category stories;
  • Ability to create, organize, implement, monitor and adjust multiple projects at the same time;
  • Highly creative and customer driven with experience identifying how to use POS & digital to engage, inform and motivate target customers and key influencers
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Very good knowledge of German/English and a confident handling of MS-Office applications – Additional French is an advantage.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based work including regular on-site and off-site meetings with colleagues, clients and service providers and EMEA Headquarter;
  • Regular commercial travel required.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in B2B and B2C marketing/Brand Marketing/Product Management required;
  • Sales or account management experience would be an advantage;
  • Experience collaborating with other commercial functions;
  • FMCG or Consumer Health experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Degree - Successfully completed studies or comparable training in marketing or communication.
