As Key Account Specialist for Rare Diseases portfolio you will report directly to Business Unit Manager Rare Diseases Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a Key Account Specialist you will be responsible for the achievement of sales objectives for Sanofi Genzyme Rare diseases products. This position combines also elements of marketing responsibility for development of marketing and action plans as well as the responsibility for operational implementation of the plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives for rare diseases products (for assigned area);
  • Perform individual calls within planned number, frequency and expected quality;
  • Develop and maintain relationship with specific group of customers and key stakeholders (physicians, expert centres, pharmacists and and other appropriate customers) within the assigned county area in alignment with the country and EU business strategy and product portfolio strategy;
  • Develop, implement and adapt business/marketing strategies in collaboration with direct manager and ensure proper, successful and timely implementation of local tactics in line with marketing plans;
  • Propose, assist and organize meetings, presentations and workshops to promote company image and products with the objective of achieving sales targets;
  • Identify and implement innovative initiatives and projects on assigned area;
  • Perform in line with local legislative and Sanofi's policies and standards;
  • Successfully „sell“ Sanofi Genzyme culture of innovation and patient to key stakeholders within the assigned country area;
  • Utilize and controls the assigned budget in coordination with direct manager regarding the efficient execution of the strategy and expected revenue.

About You

Essential requirements:

  • Scientific background: Pharmacy/Medicine/Dentistry/Veterinary medicine;
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in pharmaceutical business (sales);
  • Written and spoken English language knowledge;
  • Slovenian language fluent;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Team player;
  • Flexibility and willingness for travel;
  • Customer oriented;
  • Driving licence.

It would be advantageous to have (not essential):

  • Experience in Rare diseases.
