This position is responsible for:

  • Leading the Swedish Renal Care sales team to achieve the sales and gross profit targets;
  • Contributing to and implementing Renal Care business strategies and operational plans that are specifically aligned with the Bax P plans;
  • Leadership and coaching of the sales team to effectively motivate and align all direct and indirect resources around the specific needs of different therapy areas;
  • Generating and fulfilling demand for Baxter therapies, services and products for the entire Renal portfolio in Sweden;
  • Active participation in the Nordic Renal Care leadership team work;
  • Assist in developing and sharing the strategic direction of the business;
  • Achieve all sales, financial and customer targets in line with the business and personal objectives;
  • Defining, aligning and agreeing consistent and appropriate sales & profit targets, incentive schemes and KPI’s for each sales team member;
  • Lead and manage the account planning process, ensure efficient execution;
  • Coaching, developing, motivating, supporting and leading the sales team while acting as a role model and supporting company values and policies;
  • Active participation in the tender management process for Renal Care tenders in area of responsibility to ensure long-term business growth;
  • Working in close cooperation with Nordic Comex Team to constantly look for ways to improve the sales force efficiency;
  • Ensure grant process compliance with GIP policy and ethical rules in the sales team;
  • Input to monthly and quarterly demand forecast to logistics, and for timely and accurate input to budgeting and financial forecasts;
  • Participating in building long-term relationships with key decision makers for the promotion and sale of all products and services within the country;
  • Ensure customer needs are understood and shared, NPS data closely monitored and analyzed, in order to enhance customer satisfaction;
  • Co-operate closely with Techical Service, Marketing, Sales Support and Customer Service in order to reach full customer satisfaction & the set targets.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Life Science, Nursing, Commercial, Medical, …);
  • 5 years operational Sales experience in a healthcare company;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a sales team;
  • Experience from complex international business organization;
  • Clear evidence of sustained success and achievement of results in managing a customer facing business;
  • Experience in MS Office applications;
  • Experience in CMR systems;
  • Experience in sales reporting tools (e.g. IMS, Toscanini, Tamro Smart);
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in both native and English language.
