The Neuroscience Sales Manager, DACH has a key role supporting the growth of the Neuro business. The ideal candidate will be a capable individual with a strong track record of sales experience, an interest in neuroscience and a strong customer orientation. This role represents an ideal development opportunity to play a key role in developing an organization and business in a strategically important regions in an expansive, successful and innovative high technology company.

The Neuroscience Sales Manager will work closely with the network of distributors in the region, the Neuroscience Sales and Marketing function to manage sales activity and meet sales targets for Elekta Neuroscience products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of the Elekta Neuro business in the DACH market;
  • Support successful implementation of sales & marketing strategy to drive profitable growth in the territory;
  • Manage distributors for neuro sales;
  • Mangage product introduction and marketing in the territory in close collaboration with distributors;
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals in the DACH market;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers;
  • Assists customers with product related questions via telephone or face-to-face meetings;
  • Plan and conduct with prospective customers site visits, educational events, demos, training and assistance;
  • Manage adaptation of international sales material;
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies for consistent competitor customer analysis;
  • Acquire and prioritize customer requirements for products and service, and provide suitable interpretations to management and development staff;
  • Serve as a liaison between the Swedish International Neuroscience Sales and Marketing team and distributors;
  • Define requirements for lead generation and sales support programs for development and implementation by marketing.

Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience;
  • Proven sales experience. Capital medical equipment sales experience is highly meritorious;
  • Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry generally;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts;
  • Strong multi-tasker and experience covering a broader region (along with all the travel it requires);
  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Energetic and sales-oriented personality that enjoys working in an international environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop/leverage internal/external relationships;
  • Willingness and ability to work both strategically as well as operationally. This includes the ability to interact directly with customers across all disciplines (technologists, medical physicists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, administrators etc.);
  • Ability to develop work processes and routines;
  • Personality based on strong ethical standards, values and good judgement;
  • Project management skills;
  • Willingness to travel on average 3 to 3.5 days per week.
