The main purpose of this role is to develop and implement the country medical strategy with special focus on prioritized strategic evidence generation plans at country level, aligned with Regional strategy, in full compliance with the principle of ethics and company standards.

Our expectations:

  • Scientific background, obligatory MD diploma, experience or degree in infectious diseases, public health, pediatrics is a plus;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs function in multinational company in pharmaceutical industry is a must; experience in working with vaccines or biological products portfolio will be an additional asset;
  • People management experience;
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with external stakeholders: KOLs, KEEs in public health system environment;
  • Ability to apply scientific know-how to public health system environment;
  • Ability to navigate in a matrix environment and to cooperate transversally;
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate team;
  • Ability to work under pressure and in crisis situation;
  • Courage, engagement and confidence in reporting to management;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Assertiveness;
  • Excellent oral and written English knowledge;
  • Fluent Polish.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing, in partnership with internal stakeholders, marketing and external affairs departments, a medico-marketing strategy for the company portfolio;
  • Contribute to achieving SP strategic goals at country level by leveraging medical knowledge and providing scientific information and advice;
  • Ensure scientific watch and expertise on company vaccines and related diseases including scientific support for internal/external stakeholders;
  • Ensure scientific support concerning vaccines for pharmacovigilance activities;
  • Provide medical/scientific information for patients, health care professionals and other external stakeholders;
  • Answering medical/scientific questions coming from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Coordinating and supervising local clinical and epidemiological studies;
  • Ensure the medical/scientific support for General Manager in crisis situations, including contact with media;
  • Provide Marketing and sales force support for promotional material review, cooperation with KOLs, scientific disease and product training for sales force, etc.;
  • Manage regulatory activities in the country, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and timely registration of vaccines in liaison with Health Authorities
  • Lead and manage all activities of the Medical team;
  • Establish budget, propose necessary investments and monitor expenses.
