The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) represents the pharmaceutical industry operating in Europe. Through its direct membership of 33 national associations and 40 leading pharmaceutical companies, EFPIA is the voice on the EU scene of 1,900 companies committed to researching, developing and bringing to patients new medicines that will improve health and the quality of life around the world.
The Manager Intellectual Property Policy coordinates, leads and performs tasks related to EFPIA's IP policy activities and ensures these are focused on progressing and delivering the relevant EFPIA priorities. He/she is responsible for developing and implementing EFPIA’s IP strategy as set by the Board.
He/she acts as an expert in this field within EFPIA’s Legal team, and coordinates closely with other EFPIA team members such as the Trade, Scientific, Regulatory, Government Affairs and Communications Team and the EFPIA membership, by identifying at an early stage, key areas for action and designing/recommending industry response and engagement.
The role requires liaising regularly with industry experts and external stakeholders.
The Manager Intellectual Property Policy reports to the General Counsel.
