Your key responsibilities:

You’ll play an important role in Evotec’s integrated drug discovery pipelines and will take part in projects for the discovery of innovative treatments in the oncology, immuno-oncology and inflammation/immunity spaces.

Support oncology researchers in interdisciplinary project teams with Bioinformatics and Data Analysis expertise;
Design and implement methods and algorithms for data analysis in oncology in our in-house data analysis platform PanHunter;
Improve data processing capabilities with novel tools and analytical methods.

Your ideal qualifications:

PhD in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology or a related discipline or alternatively MSc with 3+ years experience as bioinformatician;
Strong programming skills in least one programming language as well as experience in R programming are required;
Proficiency in working with bioinformatics methods and tools in the field of oncology or immuno-oncology including public oncology databases and datasets;
Experience in working with Linux systems is expected;
Experience with omics data is expected, experience with PRISM screen data is a plus;
Experience with R/Shiny and data visualization is a plus;
Capability to organize your work efficiently and meet deadlines;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently in interdisciplinary teams and a fast-paced work environment.
